Oh the weather outside's delightful,
80° Christmas makes me spiteful,
Where'd the Winter weather go?
Why no snow? Why no snow? Why no snow?

Chades Challenge LXXIII: Thanksgiving-Themed Superheroes
Behold, TURDUCKEN! The terrific trifecta of tyranny-toppling troops.
Duck is the only hero of the group with the power of flight, but it's okay; with Chicken tucked in Duck's cavity, and Duck stuffed unsanctimoniously in Turkey's, they manage to fly around as one epic entree of justice!
If you have any Turkey Day supers of your own, let me know and I'll post them below. Otherwise, you can join in December 7th for...

Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter
Lincoln debuts today, the same opening night as Twilight. Coincidence? I think not. Give 'em hell, Abe!
I even wrote a little seasonal jingle to get everyone in the emancipatin' mood (sing to the tune of Frosty the Snowman):
Lincoln the POTUS, was a penny-pinching soul,
With a stove pipe hat and a chin-strap beard, and nasal labial mole.
Lincoln the POTUS, was a president, they say
He was honest, though, and the children know his wife Mary was cray cray.
There must have been some magic in that stove pipe hat he wore
For when he placed it on his head, he won the Civil War!
Oh, Lincoln the POTUS, he saved the USA,
And the children say that he freed the slaves,
And all the vampires he did slay!

Sauroniops
Last week, the colossal Moroccan theropod Sauroniops ("The Eye of Sauron") joined the ranks of Mojoceratops and Dracorex Hogwarsti, recently discovered dinosaurs named after nerd icons.
Sauroniops is so-named because the species has only been identified by a single eye socket bone with a distinctive bump. Much like the Dark Lord, who was only identifiable by a badly-burnt helmet after his death.
Peter Jackson couldn't have asked for a cooler publicity stunt.

Tender Moments with Voldemort
I like to think that every once in a while, maybe around Christmas time, He Who Must Not Be Named felt a pang or two of remorse and maybe even loneliness.
But probably not.

Fantasy Football XI: Titans v Dolphins
There's a titanic threat approaching the shores of Miami, and it ain't no hurricane. Let's hope the dolphins have a gorgon head lying around.

Chades Challenge LXXII: Bond Girls
No amount of parkour would save Bond from Grace Jones.
If you have any femme fatales (preferred shaken, not stirred), let me know and I'll post them below. Otherwise you can join in November 22nd for a special Thanksgiving edition of the Challenge...
