ROCK'N' POLL CHAMPIONSHIP
It's been seven weeks since the genesis of the Rock'n'Poll tournament. Songs from twenty rock genres have contended, and at last the finalists have emerged from the smoke and wreckage of rock-combat. Which song will become the champion? Which tune will rock the choruses off of the other contenders? Which ballad is truly worthy to be deemed Greatest Rock'n'Roll Song of All Time? As Captain Planet once said, "The power is yours!" Now rock that flippin' vote.

In other news, the new Chades Challenge is NIGHTMARISH CONSTRUCTION WORKERS. Sketch greatly!

Oh geez. Choosing the all-time greatest rock song is possibly the hardest thing I've ever had to do IN MY WHOLE LIFE! Who is worthy? I'm going to have to think this over for a while...

What?!? No "Stairway to Heaven"? A travesty, I tells ya!

Stairway had it's chance seventeen polls ago. It lost to Free Bird, 4 to 5. If either of you had stopped by then, it might be on the list now. D'oh!
I even gave Zeppelin a second chance with Immigrant song, which lost to Back in Black and Run to the Hills, which won 8 and 8 to Zeppelin's 6.

I don't remember ever seeing Eric Clapton's "Layla" up there. Was it ever a contender? Because not only does the original version rock, but the unplugged version is also totally sweet. I mean, I know it's too late and I already put in my final vote anyway...
